Once you find an artist you’re interested in taking lessons with, simply click through to learn more about them and their teaching style to see if they’re a good fit for your musical goals.
Prices for music lessons vary, but they all tend to be around $30 for half-hour lessons and $60 for one-hour lessons. Each artist’s rates are posted on their Music Lessons product. From any music lessons page, click on an artist to see their lesson rates.
Absolutely not. You can take lessons from whomever you want, as frequently as you’d like, whenever our artists are available.
Each artist has an availability calendar posted directly on their Music Lessons product. Use the calendar to find a day and time that works for you, and book your next music lesson with them directly.
Of course! Add as many music lessons as you want to your cart, one at a time, from however many artists you want to take lessons with.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all of our artists are prepared to teach virtually. Some artists are teaching in-person lessons, following CDC safety guidelines. Each artist’s Music Lessons product will tell you where they teach.
For each lesson you book, you submit the student’s name and an email address for coordination with the artist. You can also add a message to the artist about what the student wants to learn, or even specifically what they want to work on during the lesson. For each lesson you book, the artist will reach out to you via email to coordinate, including:
The virtual platforms (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.) vary from artist to artist, but all are FREE and can be discussed with the artist prior to the lesson if there are any preferences or technical issues.

A Music Workshop is a lot like a group music lesson, with usually one teaching artist and 5 to 10 attendees. They’re a great way to learn more about a particular music topic that interests you, whether you’re looking for a deep dive or just dipping your toe in the pool. The teaching artists also create opportunities within each workshop for attendees to get focused attention and/or interact directly with the teaching artist and the other attendees, including Q&A and feedback.

Each one of our Music Workshops is on a recurring schedule, whether it’s monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly. Each Music Workshop product lists upcoming dates on its calendar.
