Alex Cousins is a genre-defying cellist and composer who blends emotional intensity with technical precision across both acoustic and electric cello. Based in Buffalo, NY, he performs as a solo artist, leads the cinematic crossover project Strings Unbound, and plays electric cello in the rock band Sunday Reign. A graduate of the Peabody Conservatory (M.M., 2020), he has performed at South by Southwest, Kleinhans Music Hall, and KeyBank Center with The Eagles, and recorded original music with Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls in 2023. His mission is to make audiences feel something deeply and to use music as a vessel for truth, healing, and personal power.
