Host a master class with an award-winning pro guitarist and music educator (Director of Guitar Program, Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts).

All of our master classes run approximately 1 hour and feature an infotainment-style lecture (sometimes including audience participation), with opportunities for discussion and Q&A after. Each artist will coordinate with you to make sure that their content will resonate and connect with YOUR audience based on their interests, ages, and skill levels.

    • Our artists are ready to come to you where you plan to host the master class (within the Buffalo area)
    • Virtual master classes are sometimes possible if necessary (to be discussed with the artist)
    • Once a preferred date is requested below, the artist will coordinate the date and time of the master class with you
    • We will also make sure that all of the necessary bases, like like audio/visual equipment, are covered (some of those bases may require additional fees, which will be discussed prior to confirming the booking)

    • Effective Practicing. Learn about the impact of having an effective practice routine, and how to develop and constantly refine the right one for you through discipline and reflection.
    • Composition Software. Learn how to use the basic features of industry-standard music notation software (Noteflight, Sibelius, Guitar Pro, Soundslice, and more). This master class is taught using screen-sharing from the artist’s device, and each attendee will receive PDFs and other resources guiding them through the class, as well as additional features that they can use on their own.

ā€œLife is not about finding our limitations, it’s about finding infinity.ā€ —Herbie Hancock

My teaching philosophy has three components:

    • Teaching you what YOU want to learn
    • Helping you draw connections between your personality and music
    • Showing you the various paths that you can take as a musician

Whether it’s ā€œSmoke on the Waterā€ or ā€œGiant Steps,ā€ I’m ready to take you anywhere you want to go musically. I have experience teaching in almost all styles and genres, as well as all forms of notation and TABlature. Anything that doesn’t have a searchable transcription, we can always learn by ear together. I create shareable online documents for each of my students, recording your progress and your achievements, as well as audio or video recordings that will help you reach your goals (so you’ll never forget anything we worked on). I also encourage all of my students to reach out to me at any time for any questions or concerns they have, no matter how small it may be! I’m here for YOU, and the sky’s the limit!
