Join us at Duende for a magical night of modern silent films projected onto the silos with new music performed by a live ensemble.
For the first time in Buffalo, Seth Bousted of Chicago’s Access Contemporary Music presents The Sound of Silent Film Festival 2026, featuring newly composed scores performed LIVE to modern silent films. Join us at Silo City as we project the films onto the silos and perform the music live at Duende. The films are between 5 and 14 minutes long, and range from comedy to drama to animated and more. SETH BOUSTED is the founder and Executive Director of Chicago’s Access Contemporary Music, an organization that exists to present classical music as a living art form by performing new works in innovative ways for new audiences, providing community-based music education focused on creativity, and commissioning projects from composers around the world.
