Saxophonist, Pianist, Educator & Performer

A musician from Niagara Falls, NY, JON LEHNING has worked in WNY as an educator and performer for over 10 years. He has a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from the University at Buffalo, and has released two albums—Saxophone Colossus and Plays Well With Others. He regularly performs throughout WNY, leading his own groups as well as working as a sideman in various other projects.

Jon has taught all skill levels and age ranges of students on piano, saxophone, flute, and clarinet. He has worked with students at all academic levels, including college as well as adults, dealing with performance, theory and improvisation. He has studied and performed many styles of music, including classical and jazz extensively.
